Well, phew...I made it! Not that I was the bride or anything, but jeez, that was a lot of work and stress for me! I couldn't be happier for my BIG sister! She found an AMAZING man, the weather was perfect, and it was a gorgeous fall day to spend with family and friends, celebrating the marriage of two people who couldn't be more perfect for each other!! From the Shower, Rehearsal Dinner and the Wedding...everything was just perfect and meant to be! Oh...and did I mention that I caught the bouquet (legitimatly) and Ron caught the garter? Lets cross our fingers that Ron decides NOT to break a centuries old tradition...love you girls!! <3
L- You look stunning!...It looks like it was an awesome day for everyone...You are too cute with the garter-bouquet "catch"--serendipity...Have you seen the Sex and the City where all the girls are at a wedding- the bouquet is tossed and all the gals watch it fall to the ground??...That's me and my friends! (Come to think of it, maybe THAT'S what I've been doing wrong all these years-ha!)
ReplyDeleteThanks A! It was actually pretty comical, because before hand I was asking all the girls...should I go, should I not go...I always feel silly because when I have a long-term boyfriend, I don't consider myslef a "single girl". But they all nudged me up there. Thank goodness for 4 in. heels...and ironically, one little boy at the wedding came up to me and told me "you only caught the bouquet because you were huger"! Ha...I did have quite a reach on me! The biggest surprise to me of all was that Ron actually went up to give the garter catch a try! I really didn't think he would, what a good sport! Maybe the thought of someone else putting a garter on my leg didn't sit well with him?? XOXO
